Parents in the area are receiving a helping hand on how to ensure their baby sleeps safely with the launch of a new campaign.

Local CCGs (Clinical Commissioning Groups) in mid and south Essex have launched the campaign to provide parents and parent-to-be with the latest advice on providing a safe sleeping environment for their baby.

MALDON is waiting to hear what pandemic restrictions are likely to look like for the district after national lockdown ends on 2 December.

Areas most at risk are Chandlers Quay, Chelmer Terrace, the Hythe and Promenade Park.

A man who operated an unauthorised 'bar' from a boat has had the profits confiscated in a prosecution brought by Maldon District Council.

The council successfully prosecuted John Wilsdon over the 'bar' operated from a boat at Bridgemarsh Marina, Althorne, in a case heard at Chelmsford Crown Court on Thursday, 12 November.
