Local Maldon artist George Kowzan will be showing his exhibition of oil paintings at The Maeldune Heritage Centre, Maldon from Thursday 29th May to Saturday 14th June.

This exhibition was inspired by a small, neat tabby cat which would visit the artist's wildlife pond every day, searching for the resident frog. She was patient and resolute in her quest, never giving up despite the futility of her ambition. When the artist had "flat days" with no energy or self-belief (as all creatives will understand), he would watch the cat and admire her tenacity, obstinacy and reluctance to admit defeat. Then he would return to work and become more "cat-like"!

The result is a glorious tribute to his furry friend. Immerse yourself in this big. bold and beautiful exhibition!
