Ironworks Meadows Family & Community Nature Day - FREE EVENT

10.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m. Sunday 28th July 2024

Have fun discovering the wildlife on our nature reserve.

Ironworks Meadows reserve is between the Tesco Maldon Extra Supermarket and the bypass. Access west along the sea wall from Tesco car park.

There will be activities for all including:-

Checklist of animals and plants to look out for.

Nets & bug pots available to help hunt for mini-beasts

Dipping for aquatic creatures

Experts to point out and identify different species

View moths that have been trapped over the previous night.

Note: children must be accompanied by a responsible adult

There are no toilet facilities on the reserve
