We are currently seeking experienced Set Carpenters for upcoming work with a well-established set building company based in Maldon, Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the construction of high-quality sets for a variety of projects, including film, TV, sporting events, and brand events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct scenic elements from timber, sheet materials, and modular components

• Read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans

• Work to tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of finish

• Safely operate power and hand tools

• Collaborate with other trades and departments on-site

Requirements:

• Proven experience in set construction or similar carpentry-based environments

• Strong understanding of scenic carpentry techniques

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Local to the Maldon (Essex) area or able to reliably commute
