Maldon District Council by-election seats are declared

THE Essex County Council and Maldon District Council results for the Maldon district have been declared in the 2021 local elections.

The results of the elections for the two Maldon District Council by-election seats, representing Tollesbury and Heybridge East, are as follows:

Heybridge East:

  • John Driver (Liberal Democrats): 87 votes
  • Wayne Frostick (Labour Party): 123 votes
  • Bruce Heubner (Conservative Party): 510 votes
  • Alan Outlaw (Independent candidate):111 votes
  • Richard Perry (Independent candidate): 202 votes

ELECTED: Bruce Heubner (Conservative Party)

Tollesbury:

  • Robert Jones (Lib Dem): 39 votes
  • Debbie Keating (Con): 224 votes
  • Emma Stephens (Independent): 531 votes
  • Matthew Wallis-Keyes (Lab): 18 votes
ELECTED: Emma Stephens (Independent)
