THE very results for the Maldon district have been declared in the 2021 local elections.

In the Heybridge Basin Parish Council election, the results were as follows:

• Anne Beale: 95 votes
• Rob Bryson: 185 votes
• Colin Edmond: 113 votes
• Bruce Heubner (Conservative Party):123 votes
• Martyn Hodges: 191 votes
• Keith Lawson (Independent candidate): 166 votes
• Lewis Schnurr: 112 votes

As there were six seats on the parish council up for grabs, this means all were elected except for Anne Beale.

These results were declared at 10.55am at the count venue at Five Lakes Resort in Colchester Road, Tolleshunt Knights.
