Maldon police appeal for help to find precious photos of woman's late husband after her purse is stolen

Maldon's police team are appealing for help after a woman had her purse stolen from her handbag in Morrison's - containing pictures of her late husband with her children.

The theft took place at around 1pm today (Tuesday, 4 May).

The purse taken is similar to the one pictured.

A police spokesperson said: "We would like to see the return of the priceless photographs."

Anyone with information should call police on 101 and quote 572 with today's date.
