Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome is staging a return of the popular Large Model Air Show on Saturday, 18 September.

One of the few large model air shows to remain for 2021, this is a rare chance to see aircraft of this nature being displayed in the country, let alone the region!

The event will open at 10am and a range of models, varying in size from 1m to 2.5m in length, will be displayed throughout the day. Covering early aviation through to the modern day, all the pilots will be keen to discuss their creations – as well as this amazing hobby.

Admission is by ticket only, but includes entry to the varied exhibitions on site and escorted access to the hangars.

Well-behaved dogs on leads at all times, with considerate owners, are welcome.

Catering on site will include a BBQ and full Mess Cafe, providing a range of refreshments.

Watch out on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as the display items are confirmed – although please remember that all air activity is subject to weather, CAA and technical approvals.

Please note: The organisers have said that some older IT systems may find that the e-ticket generated by the booking system will not process – if this happens to you, the WORLDPAY receipt with your confirmed name and purchases, along with photo id, will enable your entry to the event.

For more information and to purchase tickets go to the Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome website.
