Maldon Promenade Park's popular family attraction has announced its summer timetable.

The aqua play area is opening full-time from July 22 until September 3. The popular children's activity, located in the central 'Valley' of Maldon Promenade Park, will be open from 9am to 5pm throughout the summer.

A spokesperson for the splash park said: "Boasting a fantastic selection of interactive and accessible play equipment, and a brand new surface, Maldon Splash Park is the perfect summer destination for all the family".

The updated Price List for 2023 is:

  • Adult & child under 8 - £3.25
  • Adult & 2 children under 8 - £5.50
  • Adult & 3 children under 8 - £7.75
  • Child over 8 - £2.50
  • Additional adult - £1

Each 25-minute session must be pre-booked on the Places Leisure website.

The park offers an opportunity for all to cool off during the summer. In August last year, Essex reached temperatures of 32℃

The Maldon District Council-owned splash park is now run by Places Leisure. This followed the park facing closure in 2021 when it needed a £150k refurbishment.

Maldon Promenade Park is offering a range of family-friendly activities this summer, including Pirates Bay Adventure golf, the Galleon play ship, the Maldon Zoo, and the skatepark.
