Quiz Night, Maldon

Join the Steam Tug Brent Trust for a fun quiz night with quizmaster Mark Heard. Head down to Maldon Town Hall at 7pm for the ultimate Halloween quiz. Teams of six, but if you can't make up a full team they'll fit you in. Bring your own drinks and nibbles, and don't miss the raffle! £7.50 entry.

Book Signing, Maldon

Join Maldon Books for an exciting evening with bestselling authors Barbara Erskine and Rachel Hore, on Friday at the Maldon United Reformed Church. Barbara and Rachel will be discussing Barbara's latest novel, The Story Spinner, and signing books afterwards. Tickets are £6.

Saturday

Quiz Night, Maldon

West Maldon Community Centre is hosting a quiz night this Saturday! Join quizmaster Kevin Briggs for a fun quiz and great night out. Teams of up to 8 allowed. £5 a person with under 16's free when accompanied by an adult. Doors open at 7.30 pm with quiz starting promptly at 8 pm. Bring pens and scrap paper, answer sheets supplied. Bring your own drinks and nibbles!

Bowls Club Open Day, Latchingdon

The Jacks Centre is holding a bowls open day to attract new members. Bowls shoes and bowls will be provided for those who wish to try indoor bowls on our excellent full size rinks. Try your hand at bowls for free, from 10am until 2pm, and discover the fun and friendly club.

Tapas and Jazz, Maldon

Maldon Little Ship Club invites you to their Tapas and Live Jazz evening this Sunday lunchtime. Enjoy a variety of tapas, including Paella, tortilla, and beans and chorizo, for just £3 a dish. Live jazz music provided by the John Seeley band.
