AN art exhibition where artists will share their creative practices and processes is coming to Maldon for most of October.

The exciting 'Unlocked' exhibition at the Maeldune Heritage Centre will give the group of East Anglian artists a valuable chance to showcase their work after the struggles presented by the Covid-19 pandemic.

At the corner of Market Hill and the High Street, shoppers and visitors to the town will be able to pop along to see the display on Tuesdays to Saturdays from 11am to 4pm. The event will run from Wednesday, 7 October to Saturday, 24 October.

The exhibition will feature recent work by the artists Jacqueline Sugden, Evelyn Polk and Catherine Smith, who are members of the Suffolk-based group Echo Arts. The group is an eclectic mix of painters, printmakers and mixed media artists.

The group has an Instagram page (Instagram echoartsbse), a Facebook page (echoartssuffolk) and their website can be found here.

Jacqueline told Maldon Nub News: "We are delighted to just have the chance to do something positive this year."
