The air ambulance was seen circling Fullbridge this morning

REPORTS of an air and ground ambulances at Fullbridge, Maldon, today (Tuesday, 15 September) appear to be linked to the death of a local person.

The air ambulance was seen circling the Fullbridge Quay area and ambulances arrived in the Mill Lane area to the rear of the Sunny Sailor pub this morning.

Police later left the scene and it is believed a body was taken away by undertakers from the flats at Bridge House.

The police and the ambulance service press offices have been contacted for confirmation with regard to the incident.
