By The Editor 7th Sep 2021

A Burnham-on-Crouch company will have a starring role in a new celebrity reality TV show launching next Monday (2 November) at 9pm.

Rannoch Adventure build state-of-the-art ocean rowing boats and offer ocean rowing adventures and experiences for those who would like to try out the sport.

Now Charlie Pitcher, the company's managing director, has provided the expertise behind the new ITV show, 'Don't Rock the Boat'. The five episodes of the series will run for five consecutive nights and feature 12 celebrities as they attempt to row the length of Great Britain.

As well as supplying two of the rowing boats used in the show with all the on water support, Rannoch Adventure was also the consulting company afloat on the project.

Charlie said: "At Rannoch, we are passionate about ocean rowing. When we were approached by South Shore Productions for the 'Don't Rock the Boat' series, we put our reputation and passion into the whole project."

Rannoch Adventure evolved organically from Charlie Pitcher's passion for the sea, adventure and desire to excel in ocean rowing. The company was established approximately 10 years ago, and in that time has built almost 100 record breaking ocean rowing boats.

As well as building Ocean Rowing boats, Rannoch Adventure offers opportunities locally in Essex to experience ocean rowing. For more information visit the Rannoch Adventure website here or email the company here.
