Burnham teenager with cerebral palsy launches 'insightful' podcast to inspire others

A teenager from Burnham-On-Crouch has launched a podcast about her experiences living with a physical disability.

17-year-old Honey Lock has cerebral palsy and hopes her podcast, Limitless, will inspire other disabled teens and help educate people.

The Plume Academy student told Maldon Nub News: "I wanted to start this podcast as a means of providing an insight into what life is like living with cerebral palsy and also to create a community for young people like myself."

The podcast is broadcast weekly on a Saturday and is available to listen to on Spotify.

It is already proving popular at Plume Academy, with both fellow students and staff. Listeners say the podcast has given them "a great insight" into Honey's life, as well as others who have disabilities.

"If I can change one person's perspective, then I've been successful", Honey added.

Honey is currently working on her A-levels, studying Media Studies and English Language. She hopes to one day become a journalist, so believes her podcast should be a good starting point.
