Crews tackled woodland fire

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a rural blaze close to Heybridge last evening (Monday, 20 July), that was started deliberately.
They extinguished the flames by 8.10pm.
A statement from Essex Fire and Rescue Service says: "If you have information about who started this fire, you can tell us what you know, 100% anonymously. We are interested in what you know, not your identity."
