POLICE have issued images of a man they are seeking in connection with an incident in Maldon when police officers were injured.

A statement from Essex Police says: "We want to speak to Bledar Lleshi is connection with an incident during which two police officers were assaulted.

"The incident took place in Fitches Crescent, in Maldon, on Friday evening (24 February) and one officer sustained an injury to his arm and face.

"Lleshi, 27, is linked to the Maldon area.

"If you see Lleshi or know where he is, please do not approach him and call us immediately on 101."
