Essex Police attending ‘serious collision’ on A12 between Kelvedon and Marks Tey

Essex Police is responding to a serious collision involving multiple vehicles on the A12, between Junction 24 for Kelvedon and Junction 25 for Marks Tey, this afternoon (March 30).
Police were called at around 4.20pm.
In an update on Facebook, a spokesperson said: "We are continuing to work with Highways England following the collision on the A12.
"At this stage, we don't believe those involved have sustained any major injuries."
The road is expected to be closed for several hours, so motorists have been advised to avoid that section of the A12.
A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "We remain at the scene with other emergency services and traffic diversions will be put in place shortly."
