Management Accountant at Keys Co-operative Academy Trust, Witham - £42,614 - £46,662 per annum, pro-rata
The educational charity is also looking to recruit a qualified Management Accountant to join its professional central team who will support their business support services by developing, producing, analysing and reporting accurate monthly management accounts, with key financial information to Trustees, Executive Leaders and Headteachers within the Trust.
In addition to management accounting responsibilities, the Management Accountant will provide some oversight and support to our central finance team in undertaking all end-to-end accounting practices in accordance with Academy/Trust's regulations and accounting standards.
This is a brand new permanent post starting in September 2022 and is being initially offered part time and working school term time only. An ideal candidate will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant with a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience of financial practices, who may now be looking for a part time position, working school term times only.
Great communication skills are essential as the role will involve communicating across all levels within the organisation, including the Board of Trustees, Executive Leaders, Headteachers and our staff in its schools.
Experience within academy, public sector or charity finance management is desirable, but not essential.

Cleaner at Plume Academy, Maldon – up to £9.50 per hour
The posts offer an excellent opportunity to work in our highly successful academy which holds a good Ofsted status. The Cleaning Department has a strong team working ethos, is very supportive of new members of staff with induction programmes in place and on the job training provided.
In accordance with the job description for Cleaner, the main responsibilities are as follows:
- To work as part of a team and to provide a high level of cleaning
- To undertake the cleaning of areas, as specified by the Cleaning Supervisor or Cleaning, Catering and Hospitality Manager
- The postholder will be expected to observe safe working practices in carrying out their required duties and report any potential hazards
- To undertake training in the correct use of cleaning equipment such as floor machines, vacs, wets pick-ups and in health and safety and the use of cleaning chemicals
- All employees are expected to show a responsible attitude to health and safety issues and have due regard for their personal safety and that of others
