This summer Maldon and District Dramatics Society (MADDS) will be bringing a fun and colourful musical to Maldon Town Hall.

The society are currently rehearsing for their new show 'Big Fish', which will take to the stage in August.

The musical 'Big Fish' tells the story of Edward Bloom, a travelling salesman known for his fantastical and embellished tales, and his relationship with his son, Will. As Edwards health declines, Will becomes determined to uncover the truth behind his father's stories, embarking on a journey to understand the man behind the myths. 

MADDS has an all singing and all dancing enthusiastic cast ready to take this show head on. The story comes with love, comedy, and wonderful music, with complex harmonies and entertaining choreography.

This show is directed and choreographed by Aimee Hart, with assistance from Callum White as Musical Director. The cast started rehearsing earlier this year, and rehearsals are well underway.

The show opens at Maldon Town Hall from the 20th-23rd August, and tickets are already available on the MADDS website.
