IN PICTURES: £1.2 million dinosaur adventure park opens in Woodham

Marsh Farm's new £1.2 million "dinosaur park" has officially been opened by the new Mayor of Chelmsford, welcoming its first young explorers last week.
Boasting giant fibreglass sculptures and state-of-the-art interactive games, Dinosaur Adventure is the latest addition to Marsh Farm, in South Woodham Ferrers.
Mayor of Chelmsford, Councillor Janette Potter, cut the ribbon to officially open the park - in her first official engagement since being elected.
She said: "It's mind-blowing, I just wish they had something like this when I was a child.
"It's tremendous and very educational. I recommend all parents bring their children here - I shall certainly bring my two young grandchildren.
"It's been unbelievable."
Families and schoolchildren were invited to the special opening event last week, with 400 pupils from Woodville Primary School, South Woodham, trialling the park.
The new park invites children to try their hand at fossil digging, as well as take part in other educational activities.
Children may clamber over prehistoric boulders in the outside area, and come face-to-face with dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes.
The adventure park also boasts lifelike animatronics and dinosaur "meet and greets".
Local councillors attended the opening alongside the mayor, including Bob Massey, who represents South Woodham at Chelmsford City Council, and Mayoress, Councillor Jackie Galley.

Mrs Galley said: "It's amazing. A terrific amount of money has been spent here and I think it deserves to do well.
"Schools are always looking for somewhere local to take the children, so I think this will be very well supported."
Owner James Sinclair hailed the opening "a massive success".
He said: "The dinosaur park looks absolutely incredible. The grown-ups love it as much as the kids!
"I'm so proud of my team for all their hard work, which has really paid off."
Tickets are now available to book for May Half Term, May 24 - June 2.

Other areas of the park, including the 'Beach' and Crazy Golf, are currently undergoing refurbishment.
