Night Care Assistant (Full Time) at Runwood Homes, Maldon - Competitive Salary

Specialist Housing (Level 1) (Allocations/Development) at Maldon District Council - £29,780 - £34,361 plus excellent benefits and hybrid working
Maldon District Council is offering an exciting opportunity for an individual to join its busy Housing Team, delivering an outstanding Housing service to residents and those seeking to move to the District. With extensive housing knowledge, its procedures and legislation, you will operate at a Specialist level, acting as the first point of contact for contentious issues in relation to housing assessments and allocations regarding social housing.
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual wishing to expand on their current knowledge and progress within the Housing department.
The role will entail dealing with applicants seeking to access the Council's Housing register, managing complex and in-depth enquiries, reviewing medical assessments, reviewing decision appeals, and managing housing ombudsman referrals.
In addition to the above, this role will support and deputise for the Senior Specialist Coordinator with regards to the development of affordable housing in the District in line with Council policy, national legislation, and government requirements.
You will also be responsible for producing reports and updating statistical information used in presentations to senior colleagues, Council Members and other external agencies.
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering an excellent customer focused specialist advice and services, keeping up to date with current and emerging legislation, best practice, and policy.
- Identifying improvements in customer and service provision
- Attending/chairing meetings, as required
- Making decisions where required in line with policy and legislation
- Supporting Caseworkers in the Allocations section to help them undertake their daily duties
- Managing complex or contentious applications that will require an understanding of legislation, acting as a single point of contact
- Assisting with the assessment of medical and welfare requests for additional priority on the register
- Dealing with appeals from Applicants, Councillors, MP's and/or the housing ombudsman
- Producing and presenting reports and/or statistical information
- Ensuring strict confidentiality is maintained, and data protection rules are followed
- Be responsible for training across Case Management in Allocations.

Junior Artworker/Designer via SC4 Recruitment Limited, Maldon (Hybrid) - up to £24,000 (depending on experience)
In this role, you will work closely with the Managing Director of Operations, and produce digital and print graphics across all agency clients and inhouse design and production.
Requirements Include:
- Excellent knowledge of InDesign, photoshop & illustrator.
- A good understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office programs.
- A basic understanding of Google Data Studio would be beneficial but FULL Training will be provided.
- Previous experience of creating animated digital assets would be beneficial.
- A self-starting attitude and always be up for questioning.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, pressured environment and multi-task.

This is an excellent opportunity as a hands-on role for a self-motivated electronics Engineer with a keen interest in electronics and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will be working as a member of a team responsible for generating the Automatic Test Equipment required for the testing of IC products, testing PCB assemblies and performing reliability testing for new designs.

- Testing PCB assemblies to documented procedures
- Calibration of test equipment to documented procedures
- Maintaining test hardware and fault finding to component level
- Designing test hardware and writing test software for use in production.
