Maldon and District Dramatics Society (MADDs ) are celebrating a successful Summer of showtimes, as they near their second anniversary of bringing amateur dramatics to the Maldon and District.

Their August show, The Addams Family Musical, went down a hit with over 500 people who came out to Maldon Town Hall to support.

Directed & choregraphed by Aimee Hart, assisted by Emma Loring, audiences filled the seats and frequently commented on the electricity of the cast, the costumes, the wonderful performances and the professional looking set.

Some of the feedback MADDs received on the show is available on their website, with audience members describing the show as "Absolutely fabulous" and praising the cast and crew's "hard work".

The Mayor of Maldon, Andrew Lay, also visited and congratulated cast and crew after the performance.

Their next show will be a Christmas Cabaret evening taking place on the 19-21 of December in Great Totham village hall .

This will be a mixture of a traditional Christmas plus musical theatre with singing, dancing and comedy.

Tickets are available from the box office at madds.co.uk
