The podcast is called 'The Big Little Business Podcast' and aims to help and celebrate local independent business owners and entrepreneurs.

Local business owners, Charlie & Paul have launched their podcast 'The Big Little Business Podcast', where they interview local businesses, start-ups and entrepreneurs in and around Essex.

They have already recorded six episodes, with a further eighteen coming in the next few weeks.

Their second episode features Amy, the owner of 'Just The Gift' on Maldon High Street.

In the first episode, Charlie says: "For us it's about helping these small businesses, helping the community, and bringing the community together"

"I think it's nice to hear other people's stories about how they started, what made them go into the business that they run. That's the main thing, it's getting their story out there"

They add, "It's financially tough out there at the moment, small businesses are struggling to compete with larger high street chains and the cost of living continues to increase, so we offer this completely free to all our guests that want to come on the show."

The podcasts are in a casual conversational format and cover topics such as the challenges involved in owning a business, local promotion, personal stories and tips and tricks of the trade.

The podcast is available to stream on YouTube, Spotify, Amazon music, Instagram and Facebook.
