MEMBERS of the Wheel of Fellowship Lodge donated boxes of toys, new bedding and other items for young families to the Maldon Homestart Charity.

The generous donation, presented to the charity at the district council offices in Princes Road, contained cuddly and educational toys, a new cot, bike, scooter, new bedding and other linen.

The items were given by a member of the Lodge, Roger Sambridge, who is the financial director of Homestart in Havering.

Homestart Essex provides a home visiting service, telephone befrienders, family groups, wellbeing groups and help with school readiness.
