A Maldon artist is selling new paintings and limited edition prints at Promenade Park this weekend.

Charlie Moore will be at the park between 10am and 5pm today (Saturday, 14 August) and tomorrow (Sunday, 15 August) to sell some of her new paintings and prints of Maldon and other areas.

She said: "I've got busier and busier now that restrictions have eased, and love my pitch next to the river and lake.

"I have a waiting list for originals now and I'm so happy that others love my work - especially locals.

"I'm so happy also to meet the people of Maldon and know where my originals are homed."

Among Charlie's newest original paintings is 'Barge Match', which she has already sold.

She said: "It was such a pleasure to sketch as the barges returned from the race - each time I looked up another barge appeared.

"It was spectacular."

Her latest painting is 'Maldon Warmth', which she will be selling at the Prom this weekend.

She said: "Thanks to everyone who has bought one of my prints - such lovely comments that motivate me to keep producing."
