Maldon Community Preschool has achieved an Outstanding report following an Ofsted Inspection in June.

The routine inspection found the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development and leadership and management at the school to all be outstanding.

This is the best result the Preschool has received, since registering in 2010, having received 'Good' reports in 2015 and 2018.

The report describes an environment where "all children flourish and make exceptional progress" and "eagerly arrive and immerse themselves in activities".

Compliments are particularly given to the spontaneous nature of the curriculum and the time children spend in the large garden.

The Preschool on Wantz Chase offers early education for around 50 two to five year old children, and operates as a non-profit charity.

Preschool Manager, Paula Lovell, said: "We are incredibly proud and absolutely over the moon to be recognised by Ofsted as an outstanding preschool!

"The result of our inspection is fantastic and it inspires us to continue providing an outstanding setting for our families.

"Our success is dependent on the commitment and dedication of the preschool team, who work together tirelessly to support the learning, development and happiness of our children.

"Management, staff and the committee have worked hard to develop a shared vision that children can enjoy.

"We endeavor to provide a warm, safe, loving place. We are an incredibly close team and this has been such a lovely way to recognise what we do."
