Maldon Council road closures for lights switch on

LIGHT UP MALDON ESSENTIAL ACCESS & ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION
To ensure public safety, Maldon Council is implementing full road closures in the town centre.
CLOSURE DURATION: 2.30 - 10.30 PM
AFFECTED AREAS:
High Street (from West Square/London Road/Spital Road/Fambridge Road junction up to Market Hill and Victoria Road junction).
Market Hill (from Bull Lane to the bottom).
Coach Lane, Coach Street, and Silver Street.
Resident Access: 'Access Only' for residents of Market Hill/surrounding roads, Silver Street/surrounding roads, and Lower High Street who display their Vehicle Access Permit.
Free Parking (from 4 PM): Promenade Park, White Horse Lane, and Butt Lane Car Parks.
Bus Stops: Temporarily located at Fambridge Road, Spital Road, or Tesco.
From Heybridge (Causeway): Use the bypass to enter Maldon via the Spital Road roundabout.
Approaching from Spital Road: Turn RIGHT onto Fambridge Road, then LEFT onto Mundon Road or Mill Road.
Approaching from London Road: Traffic to turn right, then left onto Fambridge Road.
Lower High Street Access: Via Butt Lane and Victoria Road.
