Maldon District February Roadworks Alert
Find the latest roadworks lined up for the coming days and weeks in the Maldon area.
All highways information comes directly from the Essex Highways Live Traffic Map which is continually updated. We will do our best to stay on top of any changes.
Maldon
- Roadworks are set to be taking place at Park Drive, Limebrook Way, Limebrook Way Roundabout, and Mundon Road from January 30 at 8pm until February 1 at 5am. This is to allow Essex Highways maintenance work to take place. The roads, or sections of the roads, may be closed, so best to avoid this area where possible.
- Limebrook Way is expected to see multiway signals from February 4 - 5, for highway improvement works. Delays likely.
- Wantz Road is set to be closed from January 23 at 5pm until February 7 at midnight. This is for emergency works by Cadent to repair a gas escape. There is a two minute diversion in place via Warwick Drive and Cross Road.
- The Maldon Bypass is set to see two-way traffic signals from January 31 - February 5. This is because Essex Highways are undertaking works to the Vehicle Restraint System in this location. Delays likely.
- Wycke Hill and Maldon Road are likely to be closed from January 13 - February 22 from Monday to Sunday 20:00 pm - 6 :00 am for roadworks. This is for installation of a pedestrian refuge.
Heybridge
- The Causeway is set to see two-way traffic signals from February 3-5. Delays are likely due to roadworks for utility asset works.
Mundon
- Mundon Road and New Hall Lane could see delays due to roadworks from January 30 at 8pm until February 1 at 5am. This is because of maintenance works being undertaken by Essex Highways.
Purleigh
- Mill Hill is set to be closed on February 3 for carriageway patching. There will be a three-minute diversion route in place.
Mayland
- Grange Avenue is set to be closed on February 12 from 9,30 am until 3.30pm. This is for overhead fibre cabling to be put in. Delays are likely. There is an 8-minute diversion route in place via Burnham Road.
Althorne
- The Endway is likely to be closed from February 3 to 5 for work by Essex and Suffolk Water. There will be a four minute diversion route in place.
Burnham-on-Crouch
- Maldon Road is set to have multi-way traffic control signals from January 28 at 8am until April 4 at 7pm. This is for utility repair and maintenance work by energetics electricity.
- Old Heath Road is set to be closed for roadworks from January 29 at 9pm until February 5 at midnight. This is for utility and maintenance works by Essex and Suffolk water.
Southminster
- KIngs Road is set to be closed from February 10 until February 21 due to roadworks. Delays are likely. There will be a two minute diversion route in place.
- Roadworks are set to take place on Pantile Hill from January 24 at 8.45 am until February 3 at midnight. The works by Essex and Suffolk Water will mean two-way signals in this area.
