Police officers on patrol arrested two men on suspicion of drugs offences in the area of Steeple, last night (October 15).

After police stopped their vehicle, the duo was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. The vehicle was uninsured, so it was seized by police.

In a statement, an Essex Police spokesperson said: "The team will do what they do best in the next 24 hours. They will acquire all the available evidence and then take the matter to the Crown Prosecution Service for them to make a charging decision."
