MALDON DISTRICT: Scotts Hill in Southminster closed following serious collision

Scotts Hill in Southminster remains closed following a 'serious collision' this afternoon (December 7).

The road has been closed as emergency services deal with the incident. Essex Police are present at the scene.

A police spokesperson said: "We need anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage of it or the moments leading up to it to contact us.

"Please quote incident 465 of December 7.

"You can let us know by submitting a report on our website or by using our online Live Chat service available Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 10am to 9pm.

"Alternatively, you can call us on 101."
