Maldon District: Van driver hospitalised following collision on Hatfield Road, Langford

A van driver was taken to hospital following a collision on Hatfield Road, Langford, at around 3.30pm on Thursday (October 5).

The motorist, a man in his sixties, was driving a Transit van which collided with a car.

Several emergency vehicles were said to be in attendance, including police and ambulances

An Essex Police spokesperson told Nub News: "The driver of the van was taken to hospital, where his condition is not thought to be life-changing at this stage."

The road was closed while police carried out investigative enquiries, before it reopened at around 8pm.

No arrests have been made.
