The local drama society is excited to perform their first pantomime, Sleeping Beauty.

Maldon and District Dramatics Society will be taking the stage at Goldhanger Village Hall December 15 to 17.

They will be performing the magical tale of Sleeping Beauty.

With a script written by Katrina and Nathan Rowland and direction by Emma Loring, the drama society is looking forward to multiple 'enchanted' nights.

One group member, Carole Hart, said: "This is our first venture into the panto world and it is shaping up to be a really funny traditional family pantomime"

The Maldon and District Dramatics Society is an amateur dramatics society based in Maldon.

Their website states: "We strive to provide inclusive community theatre to the Maldon District, creating opportunities on and off stage for individuals to express their creativity."

Tickets are £10 per adult and £7 for concessions.
