Maldon man arrested and dog seized following incident

A 36-year-old man has been arrested following a dangerous dog incident in Maldon last month.
This morning (September 13) Essex Police officers arrested a man on suspicion of "allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control".
Officers were called to Lancaster Avenue on August 5, following reports of a dog lunging at a member of the public while off a lead.
The member of the public, a man, sustained minor injuries to his hand and thigh.
A dog, which is believed to have been involved, has been seized by police.
Enquiries are still ongoing.
