A man has appeared in court to answer a number of drugs-related charges following investigative work by Maldon Town Centre team officers.

Bradley Maris, 29, of no fixed abode, appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 23 April charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, one count of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs, and one charge of possession with intent to supply Class C drugs.

He was arrested in the Heybridge area on Sunday, April 21, after patrolling officers came across a man who they thought to be acting suspiciously.
