A Maldon man has been charged with breaching a three-year criminal behaviour order which banned him from entering any Co-op store in the city of Chelmsford

Charlie Hunt-Wragg, 23, of Maldon High Street, appeared before Chelmsford Magistrates on 23 February.

He was charged with two counts of shop theft from the Co-op in New Street, Chelmsford, on 19 and 22 February.

He's also been charged with two counts of breaching a three-year criminal behaviour order which had been imposed in August 2023.

This had banned him from entering any Co-op store in the city of Chelmsford.

Hunt-Wragg has been remanded on unconditional bail and will next appear back at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on 9 April.
