MALDON: Meet the new Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex

The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (PFCC), Roger Hirst, is set to host an in-person public meeting in Maldon district on Monday, June 17.

The meeting is being held at the Southminster Memorial Hall, Station Road, Southminster, CM0 7DE, from 7 pm to 8 pm.

All residents of the Maldon district are welcome to attend, including people from Maldon, Burnham-on-Crouch, Tollesbury and Cold Norton. 

Residents of Maldon district are invited to put questions and concerns to the expert panel which includes Roger Hirst, Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, Chief Inspector Paul Ballard of Essex Police, Maldon Community Safety Manager Spencer Clarke, and a senior officer from Essex County Fire and Rescue Service. 

Roger Hirst said: "Our public meetings are a great way to hear directly from local communities about any concerns they might have, areas of activity that are in place and are working well, and what we can do better." 

At the meeting, attendees can find out more about local initiatives and operations that are being carried out in the district, such as the recent work undertaken in partnership with the Community Protection Team at Maldon District Council to tackle Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB).
