Friday

Live Music, Witham

The Alter Eagles are bringing their celebration of one of the best-loved bans of all time to Witham Public Hall. Now in their 21st anniversary year, the band have established themselves as one of the country's top tribute acts, headlining at theatres all over the UK. Playing a mix of old and new Eagles' songs, all the classics - including Hotel California, Take It Easy, One Of These Nights, Take It To The Limit, Desperado, Lyin' Eyes and Life In The Fast Lane - as well as Henley, Frey and Walsh solo numbers such as Boys of Summer, The Heat Is On and Rocky Mountain Way along with some deep cuts - the band have wowed audiences with their faithful tribute to this most popular of bands. Performance starts at 7.30pm.

Street food and Live Music, Maldon

Black Pig Catering is taking over Maldon Promenade Park Friday evening for a fun-filled evening of seafood, street food, wine and live music. Enjoy tribute act 'Step into Elton' and dance away to all the hits. Tickets include access to tipi site, live entertainment, and access to food.

Sunday

Maldon Mud Race, Maldon

Maldon Mud Race returns on Sunday, an annual and internationally known event where courageous competitors race through the mud on the River Blackwater. Last year several celebrities took on the challenge, with Jo Brand and Sonia Watson making an appearance. Head down to Maldon Promenade Park to watch the spectacle and support competitors. 

Quiz Night, Maldon

Salero Lounge is hosting a weekly quiz night every Sunday at 7pm. For only £1 entry per person, you can take part in an iconic quiz including rounds such as; Picture round, wipeout, top five, and more.
