Maldon Mud Race have announced a VIP partnership with property agents Savills to support their huge community event.

The iconic race will return to Promenade Park on May 4, 2025, where hundreds of keen fund-raising entrants will sprint across the muddy riverbank.

Last year saw nearly 20,000 people attend to spectate, with over £30,000 given to a range of charities.

Their newest sponsor, Chelmsford Property Agent Savills, has taken part in the race for a number of years.

Chairman of Maldon Mud Race, Brian Farrington, said "We are absolutely thrilled to announce a three year VIP partnership with Savills to support our family community event."

Brian continued, "Karl Manning from Savills Chelmsford approached the team back in 2021 and the office has entered the Race and enjoyed a prestigious viewing area at the park since then.

"However, the team were keen to secure this area and continue to be associated with the prestigious event and support the local community fund-raising over the next 3 years.

"It's very refreshing when companies see value in working with us and their support will be an enormous help in 2025-2028. Savills is an international brand and we are proud to have their support for our event which is renowned worldwide."

Savills has been operating in Essex for nearly 70 years.
