A well-used road in Maldon will see traffic restrictions for over a month while developers work to fix issues.

The works will be carried out on the entrance to the newly constructed Costa Coffee site where it meets the mini roundabout on Wycke Hill Business Park.

Repairs are due to begin November 11 and are set to continue until December 21, with the support of temporary lane restrictions.

Access to the business park and use of the Wycke Hill Roundabout will still be available with the assistance of temporary traffic lights monitored by a member of the team.

Despite much of the work to take place overnight, traffic restrictions will remain in place for safety reasons due to the need for deep excavations at the site.

Delays are likely, particularly in November with additional overnight closures in place for resurfacing work on Limebrook Way and Spital Road from the November 14 to 25.

These works are being undertaken by the developer and are therefore at no cost to Essex taxpayers.
