Man dies in Maldon High Street

A man has died following a medical emergency in Maldon High Street today.

The ambulance service, the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, and the police were called to the scene near the Quality Discounts store this morning.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson told Caroline Coastal FM: "We were called just before 11.20 am to a medical emergency on the High Street in Maldon.

"An ambulance, rapid response vehicle and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.

"Sadly, despite the best efforts of the medical team, an adult man was pronounced dead at the scene."

Maldon Nub News has contacted Essex Police for comment.
