Mrs Salisbury's Tea Room celebrate their 10th birthday

Mrs Salisbury's Tea Room, Maldon celebrated its 10th birthday on Monday (March 18).
Andrea Salisbury alongside her husband Mark first opened the popular tea room on 18th March 2014 in Rose Cottage, located on Bright's Path, Maldon High Street.
Since then the Tea Room has continued to grow, gaining the number one title on Trip Advisor for a Tea Room only five years from opening
Now, the company has expanded across three locations.
A representative for Mrs Salisbury's Tea Room said: "We are a family-run business and are so incredibly proud to be were we are now.
"It's our lovely team that make you want to return time and time again, we are just so grateful for them.
"To all our wonderful customers who have helped our little business grow into what it is today, we simply can't thank you enough for your support and custom over the years. It's been an incredible journey, filled with laughter, warmth, and countless cups of tea."
Mrs Salisbury's opened as a small cottage with around 4 tables downstairs and 6 upstairs.
The Tea Room is much-loved by locals, proving especially popular in the Summer months as visitors can dine in the sunshine.
In 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown, the tea room went mobile offering coffee and snacks from a Citroën Van in Maldon's Promenade Park.
At the end of 2020,it was clear that the tea room had outgrown Rose Cottage so they moved next door to the historic Church House.
Fast forward to now, the company is spread across three locations: Maldon High Street, Maldon Prom and the newest location in Wickham Bishops.
