A new coffee shop, named 'Bark', opened today (June 12) in one of Maldon's most popular entertainment venues.

Bark Coffee Shop is a dog-friendly lunch venue that offers typical café-lunch food, including sandwiches and paninis, as well as a range of treats for four-legged friends.

Some unusual treats the shop will offer include dog-beer and paw-secco, so your furry friend can enjoy a drink while you do.

There will be afternoon teas available from July 2024, with events set to be held throughout the year at the venue.

Opening times are Monday to Thursday, 9.30 am-3 pm, open until 5 pm Friday to Sunday.

The new coffee shop replaces 'The Bakehouse Coffee Shop' at Madison Heights, which closed unexpectedly in May 2023.

Madison Heights, located on Park Drive, also offers a giant kids play area, ten-pin bowling, a roller skating rink, a large restaurant and an arcade centre.
