NGS Open Garden, Maldon

National Garden Scheme offers the exciting opportunity to explore and enjoy local gardens. One garden in Old Timbers, Church Street, will be opening on Friday for the public. The garden offers a large walled garden, raised vegetable beds, several seated areas, a summerhouse and a greenhouse, all framed beautifully by the spire of the nearby St Mary's Church. £5 admission for adutls, children free.

Live music, Maldon

Maldon Little Ship club are hosting Claire Harper, pianist and singer, on Friday evening. Come along to the club for a lovely evening of music. Arrive at 7.30pm for an 8.30pm start.

Wine Estate Open Day, Purleigh

Join New Hall Wine Estate for an exciting action-packed open day. Visitors will get the opportunity to meet the winemakers, visit the winery, and most importantly - take part in tastings! There will also be a BBQ, offered by Smoking Bears BBQ, and coffee by Market West Coffee. Why not find out more about a local winery? Open from 10am to 4pm.

Plants and Crafts, Heybridge

Come along to Plantation Hall from 10am for a plant sale with crafts, bric a brac, books, children's books and toys. There will be a kitchen running with homemade cakes on sale too. All proceeds towards 'Saving Maldon's Medical Services'.

Fathers Day Open Day at the Hylands Estate, Chelmsford

Head to Hylands Park this Sunday to celebrate Father's Day a little differently with live music, street food, family activities, and more. Families can join in on father's day arts and crafts, with lawn games and storytelling also happening across the estate. There will be a large food and craft market, as well as 'The Hot Box' DJ. The estate is open from 10am until 3pm.
