Developers working on the new Langford Road Roundabout in Heybridge will be introducing temporary traffic measures this Summer as the new route nears completion.

From June 30, there will be temporary traffic lights installed to support preparations to connect the new roundabout.

This will be followed by a full road closure of a section of Langford Road from July 23.

This closure will continue through to the end of August while extensive earthworks take place.

The new route between Langford Road and Broad Street Green via the Jubilee Way relief road is anticipated to be open by the end of September 2025.

It is hoped the new road layout will help ease congestion in Heybridge and Maldon, making journeys smoother and more efficient for all road users.

Essex Highways has encouraged local residents and businesses are advised to allow extra time when travelling in the area.
