A popular pie and mash business will soon be opening its first brick and mortar shop on Maldon High Street.

Wally's Pie and Mash has announced it will be opening a shop at 121 Maldon High Street.

The traditional pie, mash and liquor business announced the good news in a Facebook post on Thursday, April 10 saying: "This week we picked up the keys to our first shop and we couldn't be more excited.

"We are pleased to announce that we are bringing traditional pie, mash and liquor back to Maldon High Street.

"We look forward to seeing you all."

Wally's Pie and Mash food trailer was opened last October by local couple Billy Cutting, 35, and Dee Sullivan, 39.

The couple have spent the past six months serving up the dish across Essex, with pop-ups from Maldon to Billericay.
