Ormiston Rivers Academy applaud students GCSE success

The academy is celebrating the achievements of its students, who have worked exceptionally hard to secure these grades over the past couple of years.   

The whole academy community is incredibly proud of its students, many of whom will be continuing their education journey at the academy's Sixth Form. 

Some of the individual standout achievements include: 

  • Theo Jenkins who achieved Grade 9s in ten subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Computer Science, English Language, English Literature, Business Studies and History. 
  • Eva Saunders who achieved Grade 9s in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, English language, English Literature and History, Grade 8s in Biology and Additional Mathematics and a double Distinction in Engineering.

  • Joshua Burke who achieved Grade 9s in Biology and Chemistry, Grade 8s in English Language, English literature, French, Mathematics and Physics, Grade 7s in History and Additional Mathematics and a double Distinction in Personal Health.
  • Nathan Flynn who achieved Grade 9s in History, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics and Physics, Grade 8s in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science and English language, Grade 6s in English literature and a double merit in Engineering.

  • Finley Ashworth who achieved Grade 8s in Biology, Maths, Business Studies, Computer Science, English literature and History, Grade 7s in Chemistry, Physics and English language and a Grade 6 in Additional Mathematics. 

  All of the above students will be going on to the academy's Sixth Form to continue their education.
