Essex Police want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed a fatal collision near Cock Clarks.

The incident involved a BMW, which left the road in Hackmans Lane, travelling from Cock Clarks towards Cold Norton, at about 2.30pm on Sunday 24 November.

Three people have been taken to hospital, one with serious injuries.

Sadly, a 38-year-old man died at the scene.

The road was closed for several hours while investigative and recovery work was carried out, and it has now fully reopened.

Police are appealing for a specific driver to come forward who they believe is a key witness to the incident.

The car this person was driving has been described as a small dark-coloured Mini-type vehicle, with the driver described by witnesses as an older woman.

As well as this important potential witness, police want to hear from anyone else who may have seen this collision or has dashcam footage from the area at the time of the collision.

If this is you, please get in contact with poilce as soon as you possibly can.
