Maldon-based lingerie boutique, The Bra Consultancy, has won a coveted award at the 2024 Stars Best Shop Awards.

Dubbed the "Oscars of the lingerie industry", the Underlines Magazine's Best Shop Awards aims to celebrate excellence in intimate apparel, swimwear and legwear. 

The Bra Consultancy, found in Edwards Walk Maldon, was crowned the winner of the Special Care Recognition Award in a glittering ceremony on November 14. 

This is the second time the boutique has won the award, having received it back in 2020.

The Bra Consultancy boutique specialises in fitting maternity & nursing bras, Post-surgical and mastectomy apparel, swimwear and nightwear, offering a wide range of sizes to customers.

The boutique celebrated its third anniversary in its current Edwards Walk location last weekend.

Describing the award as an "honour and a privilege", Founder Julie told Nub News: "We are incredibly proud as a small business owner to be recognised as leaders in the industry and look forward to providing only the specialist care that only an independent can."

Director Kayleigh added: "To be recognised for our compassion and expertise in this area is still beyond our wildest dreams and we have not yet come back down to earth."

The boutique has dedicated the award to "all of the amazing women" that have been a part of the business's journey.
