Christmas Light Switch-On, Maldon

Thursday is the day that the annual Christmas light switch-on returns to the High Street. From 5pm, you can get into the festive spirit and browse market and craft stalls, watch local entertainment, and enjoy the festivities.

Friday

U3A Aviation Group, Woodham Mortimer

Maldon u3a will once again be meeting at Woodham Mortimer Village Hall this Friday. This illustrated talk will be about Operation Exodus & Dodge by Chris Samson and David Gillespie. The discussion will cover the operations to airlift and repatriate thousands of Allied POWS as their camps were overrun by the Allied Armies.

Saturday

Children's Christmas Crafts Morning, Maldon

The Maldon United Reformed Church will be holding a free children's Christmas Crafts Morning on Saturday. Come along and enjoy the festive crafts and activities. Children over six can be left whereas younger children will need to be accompanied. There will be free drinks and mince pies. 10am-12pm.

Christmas Fair, Langford

The Museum of Power is hosting a Christmas Fair this weekend from 10am to 4pm. Come and meet Santa in his Grotto, enjoy a miniature train ride, meander through indoor Christmas stalls and join in with entertainment and children's rides. Children's tickets are £14, adults are £9.

Christmas Craft Fayre, Stow Maries

This is a chance to enjoy some truly festive creations from local crafters, designers and makers, with the backdrop of the Stow Maries Aerodrome. Admission includes the fayre as well access to the award-winning exhibitions at the museum.

Maldon Antiques Fair, Maldon

The Maldon Indoor Antiques and Vintage Fair is returning to Blackwater Leisure Centre on Sunday. Dealers and Collectors from around the region will be at the centre selling a wide selection of items.
