Essex Police launch appeal over reports of a woman being hit by a car in Southminster

Essex Police have launched an appeal for witnesses to a a woman being hit by a car back in November.

It was reported that the woman was struck by a silver convertible SAAB in Skylark Avenue, Southminster, mid-morning on Wednesday, 25 November 2020.

The woman did not require any medical treatment.

It is believed that a man and woman stopped to check on her welfare following the incident and police would like to speak to them.

Anyone who was in the area at the time, possibly after 9am, and saw what happened or saw the car shortly beforehand is asked to call 101 and quote crime reference number 42/197467/20.

Anyone with dash cam footage is also asked to contact police.

You can submit a report online via the link here or use the 'Live Chat' button to speak to an online operator between 7am and 11pm.

Information can also be given to independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111 or on through the Crimestoppers website here.
